Even if he did have neglect in early childhood his adoptive family is well off and his dad seems very caring and supportive. Moved to Korea a few years ago (maybe dual citizenship?) and does the YouTube thing quite successfully, without ever once having said "smash the like button" or "please subscribe", unless he did it once in jest.
