Do these categories seem reasonable? Most of these have been mentioned, but I’m aggregating. I think there are nice names in some of these categories, but it’s red flag territory.

1. Place names. Brooklyn, Ireland, Savannah, Chicago, etc.

2. Unisex names. Taylor, Bailey, Harper, etc.

3. Any version of Caitlyn, Kylie or Brianna.

4. Booze names. Tequila, Chardonnay, etc.

5. Anything with a y that is not the final letter. Bryanna, Kylie, Lynda, etc.

6. Holiday or season names. Christmas, Summer, Winter, Arbor Day, etc.

7. Anything over two syllables, unless it’s a legit “foreign” name consistent with the family’s original place of origin. Tiffany, Chardonnay, Anastasia, Madonna, Beyoncé, Alexandra, Jacqueline, etc.

9. Anything religious that isn’t also very common. Madonna, Jezebel, etc.

8. Anything that the date of birth marks as homage to a female celebrity or fictional character of that era. Brooke (1980’s), Whitney (1990’s), Beyoncé (naughts), Marilyn (1950’s), etc.
