A basement ghost. Or, the gay lover of one of the main characters.

I loved the UK version more then this one. This guy is super HAWT!! He is the gay one on their show.

0. I agree that it was one of the basement ghosts just to keep everyone hanging. I like both the British and the American versions and think they are both very good.

Was it really Flower or do you think she'll show up next week? i notice they had Nancy (basement) front and center this ep so I wonder if the execs. decided to promote her and get rid of the other actress.

The lead actress (Sam) seems to be pregnant and visibly showing. They don't seem as if they're going to work it into the script so they're not going the same route as the British series, at least not yet.

R14, I just looked it up and it says the actress is pregnant but they're not writing it in.

When they ended season two with the blast of light, I laughed. I remember thinking the producers had a great bargaining chip for keeping the actors in line salary-wise. Easy out to write them off the series.

I hope Flower is just MIA for now. I liked her backstory/death story and I was hoping they'd have her brother visit the B&B as they've had the other guests'relatives feature in so many eps.

Sorry for going so off-topic from the title thread but there doesn't seem to be a recent Ghosts thread to discuss the series.

Oh man, I have to admit, I got a little teary eyed on this episode. Flower was the least entertaining ghost so I'm glad it was her. Hearing the basement ghosts talk about how kind she was to them made me misty. I will comfort Thorfinn any day!

The producers need to tread lightly with the sucking-off of characters. I realize the US series season has many more eps than the British version (even with the COVID truncated season and now the strikes) so they may be running out of ideas on how to keep the series fresh but still....

In the British version the only ghost to be sucked off was Mary and that was only because the actress asked to be written out of the show. Too many other work commitments.
