Which soaps, shampoo and toothpaste do you buy?
Robert Guerrero
Do you buy fancy high-end brands or do you buy what's available at the supermarket (like Dial, Zest and Suave)? What do you like about your soap, shampoo and toothpaste?

Whatever shampoo, conditioner, body wash and deodorant are on sale at Costco.
My dental hygienist told me to use a baking soda and peroxide toothpaste so I use that.
Use listerine mouthwash as well.

When I attend gay dinner parties I usually jot down the names of their fancy brands of soaps, toothpaste, moisturizers and hair products when I use the bathroom.

Cetaphil white soap in bar form in the shower. Smells nice.
Clarins men’s shampoo in a stubs, but some batches smell strongly of rosemary. I also have Clarins ginseng shampoo that smells nice. And the men’s roll-on deodorant.
I also buy Asprey Purple Water Shampoo and Conditioner in a pump bottle. It’s a nice, spicy and clean scent.
I also like Laroche-Posay face wash.

I use Marvis mint whitening toothpaste and I like its mild flavor. I also keep the travel size, tune tubes of the blue packaging labeled “Aqua”, for traveling.
I buy tubes of it inexpensively when traveling in Europe.

Not that fussy about soap - anything with a neutral scent. For shampoo, currently Thick & Pure Biotin and Collagen, sometimes L'Oréal Everpure. Toothpaste - Paradontax Complete

Olay bar soap at home, Noir (Bath and Body Works) for the gym.
Alberto VO5 shampoo at home; I use TRIHARD shampoo at the gym. I swim and the chlorine is horrible for the hair. This is a shampoo that takes care of that.
AXE or Old Spice deodorant
Crest or Colgate toothpaste; Listerine mouthwash
I splurge on cologne...Acqua di Parma.

I really like pink Dove soap. It's so creamy and reminds me of my grandma. I also love the body spray "Light Blue" Dolce and Gabbana. I use baby lotion, as well as "Loreal revitalift serum.

Shaving cream: Harry’s
Toothpaste: whatever’s on sale at Ollie’s with tartar control

Speaking of - does anyone find 'tooth PASTE' any more, like we had years ago ?
All I find is Toothpaste gel, which I hate. It's messy and clogs itself in the tube's opening. I stick with Crest and Colgate, and long for the days when the paste would come out of the tube with less mess than this gross gel.

Everyman Jack deodorant, Musgo Real soap, Gillette shaving cream, Tom’s toothpaste. Shampoo is something generic from Whole Foods.
