I think she probably has some significant brain damage from the aneurysm R6 mentions. A relative’s behavior changed dramatically after a brain injury: the became an outspoken devotee of conservative causes after previously being a moderate/liberal Democrat. I’m not even sure if the relative voted differently after the injury! They just seemed much more interested in starting arguments, and spouting MAGA talking points was a way to do it.

I don’t want to make excuses for someone spouting offensive views and dressing like a Nazi, but brain injuries can suppress executive function and increase attention-seeking behavior. Tila was attention-seeking from the start (at one point she was friends with practically everybody on Myspace) and had a lot of issues if she attempted suicide. I don’t think she should be judged by the same standards as someone who isn’t brain-damaged, but it’s too bad she can’t be kept out of the public eye when it’s not good for ger or the general public.
