WEN/Chaz Dean . . .
Daniel Martin
What's the story?
Though his company is currently in endless miles of litigation for its products resulting in extreme hair loss, don't care about any updates on it. What is more important is if anybody has any stories about him.

Looks trans like that other Chaz.

Who? You're going to have to provide some context, OP--this is not a household name.
| by Anonymous | reply 3 | June 3, 2018 12:23 AM |
Alyssa Milano and Melissa Gilbert did informercials for this Keith Urban look-a-like's shampoo.

I used that crap about 5 years ago OP. I bought it on. QVC my hair fell out in the front - it got super thin. Freaked me out. I’m female so this isn’t a look im going for...They wouldn’t stop billing my credit card no matter how much I called. I never signed up for auto billing.
Anyway I finally got them to stop billing me after several months.
I don’t know what’s in the stuff but it does cause hair loss. My hair grew back in normally once I discontinued use of the product.

Those highlights are spectacular

Here ya go, R5.
This is what you want to replace that WEN crap. It's expensive, yes; but it contains no detergents (which is the stuff that causes shampoos to 'suds.')

Wen is loaded with silicones, waxes, and oils that build up and choke off the hair follicle.

I bought a conditioning product and my hairdresser said it felt coated...I agreed and sent it back for a refund. Later I got a letter about a class action for purchasers!

He owns a few hair salons in LA and NYC. He is Jeff Lewis's client. Lewis built his new salons and offices I think. He was a pain in the ass in picking fixtures and cabinets then complained about how long things took and costs. He seems like a nightmare to deal with,

Why do you want stories on him? #1 he really looks nothing like that picture, lord knows how old he really is. It doesn’t matter but he must be very insecure and married to a look that isn’t doing him any favors. From ‘Flipping Out’ he seems loyal and far from mean.

R11 A screaming queen high strung hairdresser is difficult to deal with?
Hang on while I alert the media.

I've been using WEN for over ten years and I've never experienced hair damage or loss.
| by Anonymous | reply 14 | June 3, 2018 12:59 AM |
Gurls, shall we remind R12 DL is an open cocktail party, filled with stories and conversations for all to participate. especially those to our liking? If we care not to participate, in one or any, one has the free will to move own, Oui?

It is still highly popular and highly rated on QVC. I am female and used it to for years with no problems. Most people didn't have problems. I stopped using it because it was expensive and their are cheaper ones in beauty stores just as good. It was a certain type of hair that had problems with it. I have processed hair so i need the moisture. They have enough customers they can pay the lawsuits and stay in business. You don't need to shampoo your hair. It is emollients that looses dirt and even grease from your hair. You just need to leave it on for about 5 minutes. You can literally wash with a conditioner and still get that squeaky clean feel to your hair. It is just not dry from the shampoo. Years ago there was a thread here about it. Anyone who lost hair with WEN would have the same problem using an ultra moisturize conditioner with a lot of protein in it.

^ Oh, baby. You sound like a real holiday in bed -

I only know him from his repulsive, plastic/filled face on billboards in LA.
And to think he actually PAID someone to make him look like that. Enough to cause a car accident.
His poses are ridiculous and the idea that his dumping money down a rat hole for these pathetic grasps at attention as though they’ll bring in business gives me joy.
But his name is as natural and flowing as LucyEth’s.
| by Anonymous | reply 21 | June 3, 2018 1:55 AM |
What is his hair product supposed to do?
| by Anonymous | reply 22 | June 3, 2018 3:16 AM |
e27 it is a conditioner that cleans your hair. It is supposed to keep the natural oils and add shine. Regular shampoo strips the oils from hair. Conditioner adds it back in but Wen is supposed to make it a one step process that makes your hair BEE U TE FUL.

He seemed whack on QVC—actually brought the adult yellow labs and sprayed them with that shit! dog stuff needs to be formulated as such
| by Anonymous | reply 24 | June 3, 2018 4:11 AM |
Those qvc models that said that’s all they used had greasy looking hair with little body.
| by Anonymous | reply 25 | June 3, 2018 4:15 AM |
Yes, R25. The models hair does look greasy. Is he still on QVC?
| by Anonymous | reply 26 | June 3, 2018 4:18 AM |
Love the shills coming on here to 'claim no problems with the product....' Bless
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | June 3, 2018 4:24 AM |
I’ve use it on my underarm hair. Silky smooth and makes braiding a breeze.
| by Anonymous | reply 28 | June 3, 2018 4:30 AM |
I loved the product and I loved Chaz Dean. Until my hair started falling out.
| by Anonymous | reply 29 | June 3, 2018 4:34 AM |
He had a 2 hour show on qvc today according to his qvc schedule —-tons of his products even by the gallon...he must be making money hand over lab
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | June 3, 2018 4:37 AM |
Does he keep employing Jeff Lewis just to stay on the show? Also has flipping out been canceled yet?
| by Anonymous | reply 31 | June 3, 2018 4:46 AM |
R30 So this shit makes hair fall out but is still being sold?
| by Anonymous | reply 32 | June 3, 2018 4:49 AM |
Yes..QVC sells the hell out of whatever they are hyping
| by Anonymous | reply 33 | June 3, 2018 5:16 AM |
R33 Oh Barry, what have you wrought???
| by Anonymous | reply 34 | June 3, 2018 5:17 AM |
A very deep Chaz Dean gives himself goosebumps telling the tale of his search for spirituality and signs, brown eyes turning into angel-filled crystal-blue eyes, and how he built his salon around a homeless woman's bench and then fed her like a feral cat.
Then she died.
