Too mousey. She didn't register on the big screen. She didn't have that 'it' factor. Clint Eastwood's Breezy (1972) is a dreadfully pointless and dull affair. OMG!

She did a lot of 1970s Movies of the Week. She was also in Rod Stewart's "Infatuation" video in the 80s.

I always thought she had a kind of trashy look. She reminded me of the girls at my high school who would cut class and go smoke cigarettes at the park across the street.

I remember Kay Lenz in lots of film and TV roles back in the day,, I think she was just a regular capable working actress with a familiar face, but *stardom* just wasn't in the cards for her, sort of like that Debra Lee what's her name from Welcome Back Kotter and Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman TV shows, the Red head with the freckles...

She was in my favorite made-for-tv movie of the '70s, The Initiation of Sarah, where she played the plain sister of the beauteous Morgan Brittany. Both girls go off to college together, with Brittney getting into the 'pretty girl' sorority led by Morgan Fairchild, with Lenz getting into P(igs) E(lephants) D(ogs) sorority, whose housemother was Shelley Winters. Sarah had telekinesis ala Carrie and old Shelley wanted her to use her powers for evil. I don't remember how it ended, but I've always had a soft spot for Kay Lenz since then.
