What are your habits and choices?

Last year I switched to 2160p whenever possible. Otherwise known as 4K Ultra HD.

Lots of series are shot very dark and atmospheric nowadays. I have noticed that 4k is quite dark (on MacBook Pro) if you don't tweak setting. Increase brightness to see details, and then the detail is often astonishing.

I could barely see Fargo until I increased brightness. Fargo is beautifully shot, by the way.

I don’t watch movies on laptops.
