This is going to drive the Moms for Liberty crazy and banned in Florida for sure. I love it. Say what you want about Troye, but he is one of the very few who unabashedly couldn't give a damn about the Puritan ethic, and who will release videos that do not compromise. It won't be a big hit, but, good for him.

Joyless and mere flapdoodle.

These are not bad things for a summer release. They are conventional and fun.

But there's little "fun" on display here - like the women lined up in Robert Palmer's "Simply Irresistible." They just went down the line and checked all the boxes.

The video tries too hard. It manages some interesting mis-en-scene but there's so much repetitive kinetic filler that half way through the VIBE of thrilling sensuality and the sensation of "rush" just caves in and it becomes silly and exhausting.

Still, I like Troye in every way, flaws and all. Sound is always well produced. And I like his blasé "bottomless" voice, limited as it is. The singer Nico had this kind of voice.

I don't listen to pop so I've never heard of this guy. And yeah, it's rather airheaded music.

He does a service for queer youth by presenting a positive image. Yeah, vapid, but most little queens are.
