He looks pretty good. If only his character weren't such a pompous ass. I've tried watching the show for Len Cariou and Will Estes, but Commissioner Reagan's pontificating is so off putting. Is his character ever wrong on the show?

I remember walking by a standee hologram of Selleck advertising Salem cigarettes, back in the 70’s, in the middle of Grand Central Station. 3-D image. As I walked by, Selleck lifts the lit cigarette to his mouth.

He was always hot-looking, though the moustache gave him a macho quality. What I never liked about him was his voice, which has always had a fey quality. A deeper tone, like Sam Elliott, and Selleck would be ideal.
