R118, & R119, correct regarding Ronan and Rami.

Ronan went after stories that offered available witnesses, victims, etc. He’s not some comic book hero, here to out every single HW predator. Also, keep in mind that only one new allegation surfaced for Singer. Everything else was old news.

For whatever reasons, it has been more difficult to get witnesses to go on record regarding Singer, & I’m about to speculate why.

Singer, unlike Weinstein, is a really friendly guy. Whether anyone here likes him, or not, is irrelevant.

Singer is charming AF. He’s funny, he super bright, he can discuss pretty much anything with anyone, and believe it or not, Singer actually cares about some of the people in his circle. If you are a smart, talented woman, Singer will give you a shot in the arm for your career.

He does not expect sex from you as a woman, or for you to procure teens for him. He’s like a BFF, or a big brother, or whatever it is, that you need. He’s loyal, and people in town like him, a LOT. People who have absolutely no interest in diddling teen boys, girls, or scoring grade A drugs.

This may not go down well for people, who just like me, believe and/or know, that Singer has had very troublesome and outright ILLEGAL relationships with minors. But if you are not a Hollywood “townie” please remember this, a highly inappropriate person in reference to male teens, is not just that one thing, especially if he’s genuinely talented.

I would not allow my hypothetical teen son to hang out with Singer, but if my hypothetical, young adult daughter, who is studying film, asked me about working with Singer, and she decided to do so, against my counsel, I wouldn’t stay up at night, freaking out, because Singer would cause her no harm, and he would most likely, treat her very well.

Singer has a HUGE problem with teen boys. He does not have a problem with being a decent boss or friend, to people who are not under the scope of his preference for teenaged boys.

I know that this might be unpleasant to read, but it’s the truth. Doesn’t excuse the bad behavior at all, but helps explain why people haven’t rolled on him sooner.

Harvey Weinstein is the antithesis of Singer. Everyone hates Harv, because he’ll fuck ANYONE over, for pretty much any reason.

Rami did a fantastic job. Please do not push to fuck over his career, due to Bryan Singer. Rami is not Singer, and he does not run around town, drugging and predating upon teens. He needed a big break, and this was the vehicle for him. He deserves his day in the sun. He worked hard to do this.
