I'm watching some stupid film called "Sands of the Kalahari" on TV right now and I'm really impressed by his ripped body. He keeps running around wearing nothing but tiny short pants.

IMDb tells me he was nominated for an Oscar back in the 60s and that he's still alive at 90. How come I've never heard of him before?

I think I was about 10 years old when I saw "Sands of the Kalahari" on tv and fell under Mr. Whitman's charms. I was so enthusiastic about the movie that I checked out the book at the library and read it.

A few years ago one of the nostalgia channels showed "Cimarron Strip," which I enjoyed watching. He was even hotter in that.
