So which was your favorite Barbara Walters interview?

The Donald Trump one showed us that we knew Trump was a psycho fraud since the 80s.

The one with the devil in the blue dress: Monica Lewinsky
Remember when Barbara asked Mojica, “What will you tell your children when you have them?” and Monica said “Mommy made a big mistake.”

The Monica Lewinsky one was good. They had a genuine rapport.
I always enjoyed the celebrity interviews. Not because she was a great interviewer but there was something about her style—she always seemed to take it so seriously—that I found weirdly engaging.

The Robin Givens/Mike Tyson interview was like watching a train wreck. She describes living with him as “sheer torture” and announces he’s a manic depressive, as he stares at her with his hand behind her neck.
She filed for divorce a few weeks later, citing spousal abuse.

The Courtney Love interview was the usual Courtney Love crap. She gave Walters her usual ton of bullshit. I remember her telling a story about how Kurr Cobain "dropped Frances on her head" and that she felt guilt about admonishing him for it "in a mean way." If anybody dropped Frances Bean on her head it was Love. At one point she starts crying and sniveling and Walters sympathetically murmurs "Oh, Courtney." God, what total horseshit that interview was.
By the way, Love has been getting some publicity lately for something she said during a Marc Maron podcast. She said she was "fired" from "Fight Club" because she wouldn't allow Brad Pitt to play Kurt in a movie. She said that Ed Norton couldn't intervene and that he came to her "sobbing" and wailed "I don't have the power!" Neither Pitt nor Norton have bothered to comment on her latest tall tale. They probably don't think she's even worth the time of day.

Some of them were just odious - like Ricky Martin. Or Dolly Parton. Or Doris Day. Or Angela Lansbury.

Her interview with the ancient, cantankerous, post-stroke Bette Davis. Bette seemed completely bored with Barbara and her stupid questions.

Bette says she never made a film with anyone named Peter. You bitch.
