Raven Goodwin is such a good actress. I remember seeing her as a kid in movies like The Station Agent and Lovely & Amazing. She's done really good work in recent years too, like the Lifetime Clark sisters thing. or SMILF.
Never really gelled with Amber Riley for some reason. Anyway, this looks a complete mess and I will absolutely be watching.

All jokes aside, it looks like it meets the Lifetime criteria of being fun and trashy...plus it stars two reliably good actresses.
I recently watched a Lifetime TV movie with my mom while visiting for Thanksgiving, and I was embarrassed how much I enjoyed it. The movie was something like "My Ex-Husband's Killer Girlfriend."

I DVRd this and watched last night. Oh my God, what a shit show it was! It wasn't even campy fun, it was tragic and unwatchable. For the love of God, couldn't they wipe the fucking smudges off the wine glasses between takes? It was so distracting and disgusting. I made better movies in my 10th grade media productions class.

I get the positive "big is beautiful" message and all of that but the lead actress was distractingly HUGE!!! It made me uncomfortable watching her even when she walked. Mercedes (as she loves to be called) I thought would have brought some acting chops given her background with Glee, but she was just plain awful. Everything about this was awful.

I thought the Oprah poster on the wall was a bit much (she has a rival network to boot).
The end battle in the hallway between the BFF & the psycho was a hoot!
No punches or scratches just a little tug of war between them LOL! It was all "Watch the face gurl!" & " Watch the hair gurl!" LOL!
The prop department must've insisted on using all of the blood that they had on hand
because at the end of this film a character bleeds out on the floor like a baby elephant.

You can watch the show for free if you do a search for it.
Ignore R64. It's a breath of fresh air from the skinny white guy leads that have been done to death.
I enjoyed it for what it was (a 90 minute campy at times thrill fest).
