Stephen Franken most famously, at least for us eldergays, played Chatsworth Osborne, Jr. on DOBIE GILLIS. I could be wrong but I think he was actually straight in real life even though that characterization was outrageously effete, if not downright homosexual.

The character actress who played his mother Mrs. Osborne, Sr. was also brilliant, though her name escapes me.....was it Doris Packer? She was also all over 1950s and 60s TV back then in many shows.
