Screen rant about the OG Frasier
Andrew Hansen
Guess I'm obtuse but none of these complaints particularly bothered me. I'm rewatching it now and still find it funny as hell.

Do they use the term “problematic”?
Why yes, a cursory glance confirms.
Exhausting

We are in an era of internet bloviators who believe it is their duty to correct the rest of the world on the OUTRAGES and LITERAL violence they find in even the most innocuous aspect of everyday life. They live in the happy knowledge that they have reached a level of spiritual and intellectual superiority which places them above the mere mortals of the past. And they live for the laudatory shrieks of people who have taught themselves to think only the thoughts which their fellow blowhards had not yet deemed problematic.
Thankfully, they are so tedious and extreme that most people just side-eye them and carry on regardless.

What R2 said... I got to the second problem and gave up. It's all seen through the whiny lens of now. One thing about the 2020s.. nobody will talk about the comedies because nobody had a sense of humor.

I just rewatched the Dr. Nora and Dr. Mary episodes. I guess that provided lots of hysterics for these tsk tskers.

[quote]The fact that two of the wealthiest people in Seattle had to share a bulky laptop to write their book in season 1 or that they had to go to the library for resources instead of accessing the internet for information may be jarring for new viewers who didn't have the same experiences.
This brings back bad childhood memories of the time I watched an old movie and one of the characters received a telegram. It took an hour for my mother to console me, and I didn't sleep soundly for a week. It was so [italic]jarring![/italic]
