Finally saw this, my thoughts as an extremely scream nerd

New York scene was done extremely well, they had a fancy restaurant, a back alley, dorm rooms, a brownstone, a luxurious penthouse, a movie theater and subway and a movie theater.

The opening was grest, among top three at least. After 5, they managed previous trauma very well. Scream 5 characters were given some pathos.

More violence, the killings were brutal, lots of knives through the eyes, face, etc, but not sp gory as advirtesd. Scream 4;had the most gruesome death

Much better than 5 except for the ending. This ending was the worse part..

Kudos for the gayle scene.

Finally three points:

. Dermot was easily guessed. He mentioned another son where there was no further reference to it, so it was rshter obvious. Also in the subway scene there were only two other characters outside, he was part of it,

- spre scream 3 agreed completely os the worse one, most of the deaths are too sanitized, lots of characters you are not sire are dead as the murderers are to clean, notably parker posey, the best thing of it, even the opening is sort of meh (the worse opening os the metamscream 4)

- the number of people who survive, considering injuries, is ridiculous.

Overall, except for the last 15 minutes enjoyed it tremendously.
