Oh, R4. it is. It's very similar. But also, maybe you're a gayling, but the original "Satanic Panic" came about WAY before the "War on Christmas" schtick.

Music wise it came about in the 1950s with generic Rock'n'Roll. But then really kicked up in the 1980s with Heavy Metal music and their use of pagan/satanic/witchcraft imagery and lyrics.

Of course there was also a Satanic Panic around Dungeons and Dragons and some comic book titles. But, for here, we're talking about the music based "panic."
