Rocket Money - anyone have experience?
John Thompson
Hi everyone,
I keep seeing the ads for Rocket Money - they have a program that locates all your subscriptions so you can cancel them as needed but I feel like there will be a catch.
Has anyone tried this?

It doesn't really work with canceling any subscriptions you placed in the apple store from what I've read.

I would be wary of giving any company information about all of my subscriptions etc.
If you have so many things you can't even remember what they are, this is a good sign that you are spending way beyond your means and should take an axe to your spending and budget.

I don't know if it's a scam per se, but they aren't offering a service for free (I'm sure you pay for it somewhere) and they are getting into your personal info so they can then send ads and offers to you to buy more.

What I heard is that these services just find the subscriptions and inform you so you can cancel them yourself. They don’t cancel anything, but they calculate how much you would save if you canceled and charge a percentage for the referral whether you actually cancel or not.

Apple subscriptions are easy to cancel in Settings.

Don’t they just mean that they lend money at a cheaper rate so you can pay off your existing loans?
