I used to like her but she's become ridiculous. Its obvious when she reads the news she hasn't even bothered to look at it before airtime. She doesn't know the answers to obvious questions about the news items and gives a lot of "I don't knows". She can't even bother to be prepared to do her job.

I loved her on "The Howard Stern Show" when it was televised on E! (The best years of E!)

She participated in the show via a glassed-off studio, separated from the on-set shenanigans. I perceived it as her way of protecting herself from the flowing on-set shit that would fly at any given moment.

Over the years she's subjected herself to the 'lose-weight-quick' fads of the day. Hope her heart is still healthy.

Who was her then "Mr. Black"? For a while she was with a comic, whose fist name is "Jim." (No, not THAT comic 'Jim.')

Jim Florentine r13? She and her fucking colonics, I was literally just talking about that today. I miss Jackie so much and also loved his readings of "Quivers: a Life!" She has Cornish Rex cats which I used to have too so I like that about her. Oh she dated Penn Gillette too I think.

youtube has great clips - including the fights they had with each other. LOVE IT ALL

Robin and Howard are the perfect artistic partnership. Amazing how it has lasted.

He has said she is the closest person to him outside his family and that he could not do the show without her.

I think sadly she has had cancer and is better, but there are rumors she broadcasts from home sometimes and has moved out of the city?

This week when Miley was on, two Miley fans begged to come up to the studio to meet her and Howard asked them "Do you have cancer?" And Robin said "That's how I get to see her!".

So yeah.. it sounds like what we feared upon realizing Robin wasn't in the studio all that much anymore is true, she might be in treatment again.

She had some kind of crazy surgery done where it was touch and go, but they never really said exactly what it was. She's done lots of radical diets and lifestyles over the years also, so it does really seem like the root of her problems is cancer. It's so sad.

Robin is another one of those people who came from nothing and with hard work and the right connections became a success. She is truly an American success story. She loves Howard, she loves the show, and she loves to live life. I've always been a fan and found her fascinating. She loves to experience new things, she loves to travel, and she likes to take chances. And when she got sick, she didn't want to bring the show down so she didn't talk about it. People have always tried to define her or put her in a box, but she is many different things.

In the beginning of her career, she was the on air newswoman, reading straight news and doing newsbreaks. The point of Robin's news on Howard's show for the last 20 years or so is to get a reaction and commentary from Howard. No one should be looking to Robin and that segment of the show for through and legitimate discussion of the latest headlines and the day's events.

I was listening to a best of Billy West compilation the other day in the pool and I realized, yet again, how dumb the Mandela effect morons are, Billy West would play Mandela after he got out of prison, where he didn't die. Billy as Marge Schott though...it didn't get much better than that. Can't believe the crew was mentioned without Scott the Engineer, his song "Brown Fingers" used to kill me.

She might be a sidekick but her role is and has always been vital. Howard has said it himself, there is no show without Robin Quivers. It's clear he has a lot of respect for her and she has been the only one, even though she rarely does so, who can stand up to him and have him accept it.

I do think she could have had a bigger career but she and Howard need one another. She boosts him and questions hims. She gives him someone immediate to talk to. They are not nearly as interesting on their own.

He has always been the outrageous one and she is the audience reacting to him.

I love her too. The hardcore Stern fan hatred of her is almost disturbing. Her laugh alone has gotten me through some dark moments. One of the more entertaining times she mocked Howard followed his calling and texting his "own personal weatherman" during Hurricane Sandy. She's not afraid to call him out on his frequent ridiculousness.
