I confess I never got the appeal of this.

I dislike vulgar people with too much money and no taste amping up their bullshit lives.

Is there a reason to watch them do so on TV?

Are the women featured actually in any way interesting? Every time I've seen a clip, it's always tacky-looking whorishly-dressed 40-somethings braying "Oh my Gawwwwwd she is such a bitch".

They bring back the notion that women are petty, superficial, selfish, overly emotional, quick tempered, objects whose sole purpose is to look good and manipulate men. Really don’t understand how a strong, powerful woman of today stands for this.

Also, certain gay men tend to be the biggest cheerleaders of this franchise. I don't get the appeal of shallow and rich vapid bitches as well. Conan had a segment with that talking dog puppet once that roasts some of those housewives. Now, that was a fun watch.

It just seems so depressing. There appears to be no character arcs to these people - they start out horrid and then double-down throughout. Do they ever actually accomplish anything or create anything?

How can there be a show simply about people who are worthless?
