I find that most young actors like him who stay in are usually in relationships with some possessive asshole who treats them like shit. They do not want their hot boyfriend to tell the world they are gay, because they know he will be getting dick thrown at him left and right.

Colton Haynes is a good example, never came out until he got out of the toxic relationship.

Didn't he play the first victim (of Twisty the clown) on the current season of AHS: Cult? I'm pretty sure it was him. So he's played a straight character once. That's the only time I've seen him play straight.
