If she wanted to burn a flag so bad, then she should have bought one to burn. And she could have just taped a message on a cop car. There's no need to damage property that's not yours. There are lots of mentally sick people who are not being treated or even diagnosed. Many such ppl wind up in jail. That's where she'll go, unless her madness is very conspicuous.

So many ppl in the US burned flags in protest, esp. in the 80s and 90s. But those flags were purchased, then burnt in public. Flag-burning used to be very common in NYC. US flag, Israeli flag, etc.

Y'all are acting as though she hurt a PERSON! Seriously. Take it down a level or two. You can't see that she is sick? Some ppl used to set themselves on fire in protest for different political or social causes.

I don’t know what you’re trying to say. She didn’t just burn a flag. She set a building on fire - a restaurant and an apartment building. She could have killed people. It’s only dumb luck that nothing worse happened. She is responsible for her actions. She’ll be assessed for competency and plead out or stand trial accordingly. There are plenty of mentally ill people who don’t set buildings full of people on fire during the commission of a hate crime.
