Actually—no sign existed.

Jewish parents sued because a Christian group that received public funding would not allow them to participate in training to be foster parents. Court held that because the couple got the training somewhere else, their case was now moot.

I live in the Northeast and it's easy for me to forget there's parts of the country where there's little Jewish or Catholic presence at all. Rural Evangelicals are antisemitic, anti-Catholic and Islamophobic.

There's a lot of casual antisemitism. Even as a teen in the 2000s, people would say ignorant stuff about Jews and it didn't help there was a Hasidic Jewish community in a neighboring town that didn't assimilate and abused state funds for their religious schools. Of course some people I knew ignorantly assumed every Jewish person was like them and it gave them a pass for antisemitism and all the crazy conspiracies.

R17 And I knew every fundamentalist religion abuses state funds including Evangelicals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Christian Scientists, Mormons and Scientologists who are far more prevalent. But people pick and choose and single out Hasid as worse because they're a minority religion.

I was trying to point out people in my town were ignorant due to lack of exposure to the wide diversity of Judaism and it's sects. That was the point was I making. Please don't project onto me.
