I saw their new LA house tour on Architectural Digest TV. The house itself was beautiful but the decor quite bland. They seemed happy though.

I could kind of care less about Nate (though he seems ok), but Jeremiah Brent is gorgeous.

And while I do like their design work, their color palette tends to be a bit bland for my taste. Too much beige.

R5 exactly my view. Jeremiah is just delicious, totally my type. Nate I wouldnt say no to either. They both seem pleasant enough, reasonably decent people, and I cant help but feel for Nate what with the tragedy he went through, that would be so traumatising. But yeah their interiors are too middle of the road bland for my tastes, but then most are. Nobody seems to be doing busy, fussy, overwrought heavily patterned and colourful Victorian interiors these days, I'd watch the hell out of that

I’m sorry, is everyone forgetting the completely creepy famewhoring he did directly fucking after his “boyfriend” was swept into the ocean in a massive tsunami that killed a quarter of a million people at once? His behavior was genuinely shocking, and if we were in the current culture he would have been immediately canceled and exiled forever. Instead he managed to somehow through his aggressive blandness convince Oprah that he was a harmless design gay in mourning when he couldn’t have cared less and was just looking for that next step up. And he got it. Appalling. And Jeremiah Brent is a grotesque opportunist who is most likely fucking every whore he can on the side. Spare me this ridiculous lionization.

Yeah, R24. I tried watching their show a few times. It's really boring. Funny thing, I actually liked Nate's daytime talk show. I found it to be a light, pleasant respite from the squawking females on daytime television.

There's not much substance to Berkus' work, he's just a synthesis of popular trends in the Pottery Barn/Restoration Hardware vein. Think of it as sending s business man shopping in the old Brooks Brothers: it won't make waves or catch attention, but it's solidly stolen from established tradition and won't embarrass.

The Brent one, though, what a little mincing prisspot it is, all fey twitches, and a face that's alternately a mean girl's fake smile and a fallen souffle that's smelled a fart. He's repulsive and clingy and controlling, and you can bet he knows to the penny where every penny is.
