R18 it's probably really bad. They're probably trying to see what level of recovery he can realistically achieve before they reveal the state he's in. This type of injury takes a lot of time to heal from, if at all. You should read about what happened to Sharon Stone. She had an aneurysm that very nearly killed her and her recovery took a very long time.

Is there a precedent for a celebrity being felled by something so incapacitating as a stroke? There might be a legal mess as far as who is legally responsible if he he didn't make provisions. It wouldn't shock me that despite wealth and position, some men live in denial about their own mortality and just don't deal. It also wouldn't surprise me if he's intestate and there's much behind-the-scenes stuff going on. Family, film producers, an insurance companies going at it. The legal stuff might be the reason for the secrecy. $$$ at stake.
