A friend of mine swears it is a veiled escort site for rentboys who dont want to put their pictures on an overtly rentboy site, but that anyone who posts a full profile on there is pretty much for sale… discretely, of course.

No, it's not an escort site. It just happens that Sean Cody et al recruit a lot from it. If there are a 1000 cute guys, and you email 300 of them, it's likely that 1 or 2 will say yeah to being on Sean Cody.

Honestly there is probably truth to that. I don't think those guys are actively trying to escort but if you contacted them and made them an offer I have no doubt a lot of them would accept.
