Many of you do not have the facts about Rowe regarding blue collar workers and jobs. He's repeatedly talked about how not every person needs to/or should go to college and that there are many, many jobs available in the field of trades. Trade work is difficult, learning HVAC or plumbing or electrical in 2018 might as well require an engineering degree. I know a guy who was a general contractor for a time (that is also a field of work that requires study and licensing) - he tells me he can do most work to build something, but will not touch electrical - he's got no skill for it.
Mike Rowe and his foundation provide funds for men and women to learn a skill, which may get them a job and a future. Some of you resent this? It's something to be mocked?
He earns a living doing narration for different TV shows and commercial work - a man has to earn a living. You don't like his clients? Big deal.
He's tried a follow-up to Dirty Jobs which is not doing as well - and what's your point? He's working, from what I know he practices what he preaches and if that means going on FOX News to talk about blue collar work, he'll do it.
He's not as nice and congenial as his TV prsona? I'm shocked, shocked! I've never, ever heard of such a thing!

I think my real issue with Rowe is despite his strange, somewhat quixotic hard-on for the blue collar lifestyle, he's against unions and actually making those people's lives better - for christ sake he's buddying up with the Koch brothers.
