I don't like cats very much but I do like my friends' Maine Coons. They are kind of like dogs.

A former neighbor of mine had one. He was extremely friendly. I imagine the shedding was a bit much though.

I have Bengals now, but am completely fascinated by MCs. And I don't like super furry dogs/cats.

They are usually very sociable and have friendly personalities. Mine is very talkative and likes to be involved in absolutely everything that's going on in the house. For some reason it's common that they're obsessed or fascinated with water. Totally true in the case of mine. And a total lap cat.

Both OP. The hair is insane to clean up. They shed no matter what you do. They are unbelievably friendly and lovable though.
