Love on the Spectrum Pt 2
Harper Scott
I'm watching this series now and it's incredibly heart-touching. The families that give them all the support, the counselors that help them, the personalities of the people that they feature.
It seems very genuine, and also touches on how awkward we all can be on first dates.
I kind of love Australian shows...they tend to be very down to earth. the girl that kept burping on her dates lol

This one was even more emotional than season one. I love Katie and Ronan. Katie "likes to twirl" as one of her things. Ronan and Katie started dancing truly like no one was watching in the middle of the park. It was such a lovely moment. They are my new fan favorite. I was rooting for Michael and his date, but I got the feeling Heather's parents weren't too keen, which is a shame. Love doesn't grow on tress and when you find people who connect, why interfere. Just speculation. Anyways, it's all about Katie and Ronan. I literally cry during every episode because they are so completely authentic and it's lovely to see. I also loved the loud American girl. I am so sick of America/cans, but I love our friendly, over the top spirit.

r3 exactly how i felt. It's so refreshing to see people feeling their feelings and not really trying to cover them up but actually expressing them, just being who they are and saying things most of us would never be brave enough to say.

My friend was saying that this is Kim Kardashians new favorite show and you could not get further polar opposites. I bet the pool player throws a mean fuck. Again, I cried through their wedding, dress fitting, but it is tears of joy. Deep down, I want someone to just love my crazy, yet hot and beautiful self, as is. I want to just scream for fun in the middle of the date and my partner totally accept that.

^^the wedding had me sobbing...the vows from Jimmy were fucking spot on. That's what i want. i want somebody to be so damn excited that we're getting married that they are asking where i am and so happy to see me. that was so emotional and beautiful. they just let their emotions out and i really love it. wish there were more episodes. i hope it comes back from another season.

I am going to reduce you to tears and melt your cold, icy hearts. How truly lovely! Don't we all just want to be loved as is without having to wear a mask (metaphorically).

Autist or not, I think Michael is kind of a dick.

r8 i wasn't a big fan of Michael. But his mom seemed kind of like a dick too...she was always laughing AT him about so many things.

Michael is hilarious! His mom seems fun and clearly adores him.
Ronan’s brother is hot as fuck.

Where is this show playing?

I just discovered this show and burned through both seasons in a couple of days. As others have posted, it's such a sweet series, and the antithesis of so much "reality TV."
It's a reality show that actually celebrates kindness, authenticity and love, and people behaving respectfully.
I love Michael and his mum -- as R10 says, it's obvious his family and friends all adore him.
No word on a third season yet, though.

I thought Jayden was very cute and reminded me a bit of Matt Smith. Gay and high functioning too. I wouldn’t know he was on the autism spectrum from speaking with him.
