All I remember from last nights mess was: 1988, the Hollywood sign collapsing, some bad CGI animals, some extras in caveman furs, a high-rise building in prehistoric times and Janky Leg Daughter limping.

Besides being surprised that this fiasco got renewed, I can only wonder how much WTF? and lunacy will be put on the screen in future episodes. The writers must be supplied with hallucinogens or top grade mushrooms. The only way to watch this show is drunk... or high. It will not make sense otherwise. I don't even remember how last season ended, but it doesn't matter - I don't watch this dreck for the plot. I wish I had some booze on hand to make the show even funnier. I will plan better for next week.

The son got cuter during hiatus. So did the criminal guy, I think his name is Lucas or Luke. The Dad's age makes no sense to me. If we're being generous he was 8 in 1988, which would make him 42 in current time. It seems like that character should be older or Natalie Zea's character was robbing the cradle. That could also totally be my hang-up. Now I have to relearn all their names.

R5 = We HATE watched it last season....The renewal was a shock. We had nicknames for everyone...Lezzby Cop...Fat Son...Hot Daddy....Peg Leg...Tranny Child...Weedy....Hot Cop.......This season the thrill is gone....

I follow the “son” on TikTok, but honestly I skip over his videos half the time. He does absolutely zero promotion of the show, and doesn’t even seem to acknowledge that it’s him. I think he sees TikTok as his humor, or standup account and a different career than this show, or he’s deeply, deeply embarrassed by it.

After dealing with the ridiculous first season, I left the show in my DVR, thinking it would be good for some laughs and to make fun of it, but after just 2 episodes of S2 I decided it was not worth losing any more brain cells trying to endure this crapfest.

I gave up about ten minutes before the end of the last episode. I realized it moves like a daytime soap opera, checking in with various characters who are in somewhat arbitrary situations that have no impact on their subsequent behavior. Characters appear in different times and I have no idea where they came from or why.

They ought to call it “Everybody Run!!!”

When I saw the 2nd episode of this season and a bunch of actors walk into the scene wearing animal furs as clothing, boots made from more fur and one actress even had a animal fur cape, I knew I could no longer stomach this show. All of the extras were clean, healthy looking and had all of their teeth even though they were supposed to be portraying people living during with dinosaurs and shit - some fake animal skins were not helping to cover the fact that this show was bogus.

No one behind the scenes put in enough thought to dress these modern people down a bit more to make then look authentic for the time.

Last night Run Mom fell into a deep hole with a boulder landing on her leg and a giant bear about to eat her. She threw some sticks, the bear chased them rather than eat her, and it moved the Boulder off her leg which was uninjured. Hurray!

Oh—and the central family, having been reunited in 1987, and picked up a grandmother who is somehow younger than her son, decided to return to 10,000 BC to save Santa Monica from a tsunami, but neglected to bring any supplies back with them. Must have been the excitement.

How fortunate that when the sinkhole opened at La Brea it just happened to swallow two members of the immediate family of the couple who created the time-travel technology. Lucky.

Apparently, there is a wedding taking place and it is ridiculous how this show is such a schlock disaster. That "dress"...
