Keri Russell
Harper Scott
She is doing Star Wars now. What other projects does she have?
Any gossip? How was she on the set of The Americans?

Burn This on Broadway with Adam Driver. This spring.

She’s going to star in Burn This on Broadway.

Thanks R1. I had wished that Keri would have starred in the Waitress play.

I love her R3, but she doesn’t strike me as someone who sings. Do you know something we don’t? And it might be hard doing that each night with Shelly’s murder in the back of her mind the whole time. It would be way to emotional for me to relive that each day.

R4 - You are probably right. Keri, though, was part of the Mickey Mouse club when she was young.

All I know that her "husband" is a mo. Look at how uncomfortable he made her when he started talking about how Luke was a hot kisses on Watch What Happens. He just kept going on and on about Luke.
Mmmmm Luke was so hot and dreamy. I don't blame Keri Russell for feeling threaten.

I met with her and worked with her for a day when she was promoting The Upside of Anger at a festival years ago. In an 'assistant' sort of capacity. Granted that was a long time ago but she was absolutely lovely, but VERY low key and reserved. Not exactly a social butterfly, if you know what I mean. It struck me as surprising that she ever got into showbiz, let alone made it so far with so few 'people skills', she just doesn't have one of those personalities where you instantly think 'star'. Seemed very happy to be a wallflower. I don't mean to sound insulting because she was nice, polite, and all the rest, and I suppose it's refreshing. But it's strange to imagine she was a teen star on Felicity and doing the Mickey Mouse show because her personality is so at odds with that. I have remained a fan of hers throughout the years and she was brilliant on The Americans and in Waitress.
I didn't know she was doing Burn This on Broadway. Funnily enough the original production had Joan Allen in that role, who played her mother in The Upside of Anger (I also met her briefly) and I think shares a lot of similar characteristics. Attractive but not threateningly so, talented but always slightly under the radar of big acclaim, and a bit cerebral/distant, personality wise. Both interesting creatures.
I have to say when I see Matthew he does ping a bit. And aside from that he just comes across as very annoying. Loquacious, over the top, always doing the most. They're often interviewed together, and she just kind of giggles quietly and watches him ham it up.

Keri and Joan Allen were well cast as mother daughter.

“As someone who’s neither cultivated enough for, nor particularly interested in the theater — except for Springsteen on Broadway, which I saw and wept at twice — I rarely pay attention to upcoming plays. However, it’s been impossible for me to ignore Burn This, the new Keri Russell and Adam Driver production. This is because every single promotional photo of the two of them has been unspeakably, unrelentingly, unbelievably horny.
Separately, each party is objectively attractive. Together, they unleash a sexual energy so powerful, it rips a hole in the space-time continuum. (Disclosure: I don’t know how space, time, or continua work.) Driver, whose fundamental appeal lies in the fact that he’s an enormous horse of a man, looks positively hulking, with hands that are approximately the same size as those No. 1 foam fingers you wave at football games. Russell smolders like a sentient Duraflame log. As a wise man once said: [Ahooga horn noise].“

She’s shopped at my store a few times in Brooklyn, always with her children. She’s very reserved and quiet and very sweet.
I had the privilege of helping her.

She has a new series on HULU with Park Overall.
| by Anonymous | reply 11 | March 9, 2019 5:11 AM |
Park Overall! I have not heard that name in a long time.

I loved Felicity. I think she is gorgeous, then and now. Now I started thinking about hat happened to her co-star/ex who played Ben. It's been so long since I've heard about him that I completely forgot his name.

I think she is one of the most haggard looking people in show business.

Eric Roberts and Joan Allen originated the roles in "Burn This."
WHET Ms. Allen?

I think she's beautiful.
But she'll never do THIS again....

Thanks, R14. Seriously R15?
| by Anonymous | reply 18 | March 9, 2019 5:50 AM |
Dunno why, but for some reason she reminds me of the late, great Lee Remick.
| by Anonymous | reply 19 | March 9, 2019 5:52 AM |
I've always thought she had an old Hollywood/classic quality, even if she avoids the glamour.

I see it, R19. Love me some Lee.

Yes, I see that too. She does look like Lee. I also think she looks like Emily Deschanel.

She’s terrific in the Americans.

Keri could totally star in Waitress on Broadway.

Hee! That was a riot, R26. Those clothes!
Keri was mostly speak-singing her solo, but she moves really well. Didn't she sing once or twice on FELICITY?
| by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 10, 2019 2:27 AM |
R24 - She is anything but vanilla in The Americans.
| by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 10, 2019 2:31 AM |
No matter what else she does, I will always think of her as Mandy in Honey, I Blew Up the Kid.
| by Anonymous | reply 30 | March 10, 2019 2:48 AM |
Her husband is the epitome of BDF in the pic at r9....

[quote]She is doing Star Wars now.
I didn't realize Keri was actually acting in STAR WARS Episode IX.
By "doing Star Wars" I assumed OP meant Keri was fucking Adam "Kylo Ren" Driver. Lucky Keri, thought I.
Hee.

She was gorgeous with her natural curls. I don't care for her straightened hair she has nowadays.
| by Anonymous | reply 34 | March 10, 2019 3:17 AM |
I think she was, and still is, gorgeous. I disagree with R15 that she looks "haggard." She's just an example of what women look like in middle age when they're not injecting fillers and botox into every wrinkle that develops.
But, yes, R34, I loved her natural hair, and have often wondered why she doesn't wear it as curly anymore. Question for those with this hair type: Do you lose curl as you age, or is she actually just fanatically straightening it every day?
| by Anonymous | reply 35 | March 10, 2019 3:43 AM |
She is still gorgeous, though I think she looks better with her original hair.
