KB Homes by Martha Stewart
William Jenkins
Know anyone that purchased one of these homes in Lancaster, CA? An East Coast style house, designed by Martha Stewart, in Lancaster, CA seems so weird!

Lancaster?
Meth labs and neo-Nazi-wannabes. I don't know what Martha's doing in that hell-hole.

That looks like Chris Watts’ house.

Is Brianna Avenue at the intersection of Kayleigh Court and Jayden Lane?

Aren't KB Homes the nadir? The cheapest of the mass-produced homes?

Unbelievable to see carpet in the bathrooms.

Hideous. Looks more like Lancaster PA than CA.

Why is there no landscaping?
A couple of trees and maybe some bushes would certainly help.
Come on Martha. You have enough money.
This is just embarrassing.

Isn't Lancaster PA Amish Country, R6
Whereas Lancaster, CA is Meth Country?

No, that's absolutely Lancaster CA. I told you guys, meth labs and neo-Nazis. I wasn't exaggerating.

She's also selling frozen pizza and other snacks, now available in your grocer's freezer. And to think, she used to be seen as such a trendsetter for taste.

Usually display houses have all the bells and whistles the frauen love: stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, hardwood floors, designer lighting. If you want all that shit, prepared to spend 80-100K more than the base price.
The house pictured is just the sort of crap you get for the base price: builders grade cheap shit, including ratty carpeting in the bathroom.

Nothing about that sad stucco house in the dirty desert says Martha Stewart. Are you sure that was one of the Martha models? Martha should have signed on with Toll Brothers. Now this house screams Martha to me.

Tackiest kitchen island I've ever seen.

Ugly, I would open a vein. The East coast does have a lot of those crappy looking faux stone farmhouse things, and they’re not a good thing anywhere.

I cannot imagine what terrors must be lurking within that bathroom carpeting! Considering all the beybeys and their pee-peeing everywhere, not to mention the types of adults who put red bath mats in beige bathrooms and style their living spaces with split-leather, recline sectional sofas. The biome growing within that one section of flooring alone will soon produce legged salamanders slogging from its murky depth, if not complete Homo sapiens modeled off whatever brand of Human inhabits that house of horrors.

Seems this happened 13 years ago, in 2007

The couple that founded KB Homes lived for decades in the Hart to Hart house in Brentwood.
KB Homes was founded on the principle that if you build houses without basements you save a ton of money in construction and buyers will pay the same price as a house with a basement.

I have no taste and even I can tell that's an abomination. For shame, Martha!

R18 - California houses don't have basements because of earthquakes.
Did this deal actually go through? 2007 was the start of the housing decline and this house, as mentioned above, is the lowest, cheapest, builder-grade materials in every fucking room.
Martha was lending her name out to everything for awhile there - remember her Kmart shit? And her paint?
She was selling her name like Trump for awhile there.

KB Homes was founded in Detroit where every house has a basement, but now they build everywhere. They’ve made billions of dollars building these things.

If you put that nice Toll Brothers house in Lancaster, it would be a nice house in a shitty meth/neo-Nazi fillled neighborhood.

Tolls Brothers is another builder of absolute crap.
They just opened a huge new mid-rise apartment/shopping complex near me. Pruitt-Igoe had more charm when it opened.

I was just going by the picture, r23, I'm not actually vouching for any of these builders. I have no idea who they are, it's exactly the kind of "development" housing that makes my skin crawl.
