I still say Olivia was at more a lesbian than straight, but if she was a lesbian she could've had a lot hotter than Karen.

Watching Karen on Mike and Merv and those shows from the late 70s up to her death, I can't believe how AWFUL she looked. She was skeletal and just sickly looking.

Her death was a waste of a monumental talent.

To be fair, he was always the first one to joke about his failed marriages. A lesson not enough celebrities have learned - always be the first one to self deprecate to endear yourself to audiences. He was a great interviewer too.

By the late 70s Richard was desperate to salvage their flagging record sales . They couldn't get younger and hotter, but they could get thinner. He look emaciated himself, so I'm sure it was he who found someone to slim Karen down. But she liked it too much. And like a drug addict, her love of weight loss took over her life and ultimately killed her.

Douglas' tv academy interview was much better than I expected. I tended to take him for granted, where as Merv got more and more insufferable over time.
