A unique experience for experience sake, like diversity simply to create diversity, is worthless.
People forget that the actual value of either is to enrich the overall experience of all students. But, beyond that, the derived enrichment is supposed to help shape the next generation of great thinkers and leaders - to be better, not merely intellectually, but as people.

Anyone who watched his show can see he’s not very bright. He’s self-obsessed (thanks mom!) and seems pretty incurious about the world. He has no goals, no ambition, no talents. That he dropped out of actual school to go online doesn’t speak well for him and his socialization with his peers.
| by Anonymous | reply 33 | April 3, 2019 11:22 PM |
Are the cameras going to follow her to university? probably. So s/he won't even get to have a semi-normal college experience either if that happens. The parents are atrocious, making an underage child's transition into a family business.

Harvard (and all the Ivys) isn't Harvard anymore. Now it's also about getting publicity to stay relevant. No way would my alma mater UC Berkeley do the shit that Harvard is pulling, letting in issue du jour teen celebs or offsprings of celebs. David Hogg rejected by a slew of UC's and even Cal State Long Beach should tell you something about his lack of academic credentials. Why isn't anyone getting on his case for wrangling a place at Harvard from that tragedy? I'm as anti-gun as next person, but something about his publicity-seeking has always seem disingenuous, and the more he speaks the less impressive (and educated) he comes across.
As for Jazz, do we really need to see her transcripts to know that she's not college material let alone Harvard or what was once Harvard? Her inability to string together cohesive thought should tell you something. Brain development continues into adolescence, especially higher cognitive functioning, and areas of the brain that controls emotions, risk-taking, etc... What's more, hormones released during puberty affect the sex-specific reorganization of the brain. Hormones exert a biological function on the brain. Hormone blockers have irreversible effects on Jazz's cognitive development. This is why I'm against starting hormone therapy on self-identified trans children because the longterm side effects are still unknown. Why are we letting crazy parents and uninformed children make decisions that have irreversible sequelae?
| by Anonymous | reply 95 | April 4, 2019 4:25 PM |

Phoebe lithgow, son of John, was in his class, and entered just as tatiana Ali was finishing (although I have heard she is intelligent). A study of GnRHa’s in 2001 showed “IQ levels decreased significantly” (a mean 7 point drop, but “doubts exist about the clinical relevance”), and in 2016 another GnRHa study reported an IQ drop of around 8 points was noted (which was found in the study to be “not significant”). These studies were conducted outside the US, but within the US Lupron dominates the market. Where are the pediatric (or adult) Lupron IQ studies, and why do these pediatric studies dismiss the significant decreases in IQ? Wouldn’t any IQ drop of 8 points be significant? This is information that would be critical to the decision-making of any parent/child. And the “doubts” about clinical relevance and ‘non-significance’ of GnRHa-induced intelligence decline should be pursued by the media – and medicine.
The link has links to the studies.

I'm just speculating r113, but isn't Lupron supposed to be used as a treatment for children with cancer? In that case it'd make sense (imo) that the scientific literature about Lupron would assert that the IQ drop is "not significant" -- because it *isn't* significant when the alternative is "your child dies of cancer."
However, it's an entirely different ball of wax when Lupron is being used for off-label purposes on a perfectly healthy child's body. That should be illegal. The FDA should prohibit such off-label use on healthy minors.

[quote]I'm just speculating [R113], but isn't Lupron supposed to be used as a treatment for children with cancer?
No. Lupron is only used to treat prostate cancer in adult men. And prostate cancer can only occur in men after they’ve gone through puberty. It is not used to treat pediatric cancers, nor is it approved to do.
The only approved use of Lupron in children is for precocious puberty. That’s where the data on these atrocious side effects is coming from.

As someone who works in a university setting (but not admissions) her brag sheet post on instagram is a little disingenuous. There will be others at the school ranked #1, always are. She'll have taken a load of AP courses, along with others, which will be weighed in to that 4.0 GPA. I also get the feeling that Miss Jazz's teachers might have given her special treatment. Not easy grades but more, "Jazz, since you're getting your dick cut off at the weekend, you have a deadline extension of a month. For everyone else, it's due Monday".
Interesting that she didn't boast about her SAT or ACT scores....

Sounds like Jazz is husband hunting!

She’ll be a sociology or lgbt/gender studies major. The affirmative action cases are always shunted to the easy, meaningless majors.

There is no way Harvard would allow the disruption of reality cameras on campus. Jazz frequently speaks out of his mussy.

How many weeks will it take for Jazz to sue Harvard?

Jared is not an attractive drag queen. Even as a child the idiotic parents couldn't rid him of his male look. People that believe any of this b. S. Must have i. Q.'s of 70. Harvard is in it for the p. r..

Sociology isn't easy or meaningless R141.

This child has a big nose, big lips and rags for hair.

The nose is kind of big, but that's not the problem, the problem is the tip droops down towards the mouth. Makes it look like there's no space between the nose and upper lip. He's looking more and more masculine every day, which I am surprised at because, yes, I know he's a man, but isn't the whole point of doing all this so young to keep trans from becoming masculine? If it's not doing that, and from the looks of Jazz it's not as time goes on, then there's no point. They've harmed his health for nothing.

[quote] Sociology isn't easy
Sociology is easier than Physics or Chemistry. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. I studied law at a top college, and even I think STEM subjects are harder. Because it's harder to waffle in STEM. Even dumb people can read a college-level sociology book and understand at least some of it (which is intuitive) - however, no dumb person can read a college-level chemistry book and understand it.

[quote] CLASS RANKING: 1 of 113
I have questions about his IG post @ R14. Who is his "class"? Did he not go to an 'online' school? And how rigorous is that school? What's the name of it?
Because if it's an online school - well, the smartest kids don't generally go to virtual school. So who is he comparing himself to?

To his idiot mother and moronic doormat father.

What the hell is Pomona? She is portrayed as a very stupid baby on the show.

Something tells me that Harvard received a sizable donation for his college admission.
