Live with Kelly and Ryan fans are missing Kelly Ripa big time!
Kelly has been absent from her co-hosting duties all week, with celebs Maria Menounos and Ali Wentworth filling in for her. Since there wasn't a formal announcement made about Kelly's break, fans have been taking to social media to figure out what's going on.
"Where are you?," one person wrote on Twitter while tagging Kelly. "How come Kelly isn't on Live?," questioned another.
And Kelly has notably been silent on social media, that is until Tuesday, when she shared an adorable video of her pups in honor of National Puppy Day. Fans also got a chance to connect with her (and see some great photos) as she wished her friend Bruce Bozzi a Happy Birthday on Instagram on Wednesday.
It's important to note that Kelly's break is totally normal. “Kelly annually takes time off at the end of March to spend time with her family," a source told Hollywood Life. The story also noted that her husband Mark Consuelos' birthday is March 30, so the family is likely spending time together to celebrate his big 50th!
The Blast also confirmed that Kelly's taking a 2-week vacation this month, something she's done for the "last 20 years."
That means, we'll probably see Kelly back in her chair in April (maybe sooner!). And although Kelly's absence is definitely felt, viewers have had nothing but positive comments about Maria and Ali filling in, which is great as we too think they are doing a wonderful job.

Friday's episode with Harry Connick Jr. and Ryan was so uncomfortable to watch; Harry going on and on about how Ryan needs a girlfriend and Ryan responding that he's just too married to his career. It was ridiculous.

Yeah, Ripa's a mental case.
But Ali Wentworth also needs psychological help. She used to be funny, but MAN, she's looked like hell for the last 15+ years, even WITH the facelift. Is she tired of bearding for George or just mad her career went down the tubes as soon as she married him.

I just saw Kelly Ripa as a judge on an "Iron Chef America" show from 2011. She appeared to taste each dish, which is the most that a judge is expected to do on camera -- couldn't tell whether or not she was swallowing. She didn't look as skeletal as she does now, though certainly not robust. One of the other judges was Kathy Griffin, who was just as annoying as ever, and Ripa seemed positively charming compared to her.

She said she was the only “regular” who was a bitch and thought she was above everyone. Her peers who were regular dancers (all from Jersey) HATED her.

r21 I also noticed her voice has deepened a lot recently. All of a sudden she sounds like she's been smoking a pack a day for 20 years. Is she hiding a smoking habit? I would need to smoke something too if this was all I ate everyday!
