He was for the brief period he was ripped for "American History X" but not at all before or after.

No. He's borderline ugly and there's something repellent about him.

So he's unattractive but he does have a certain charisma as an actor, which he's been able to use. But I wouldn't go home with him for any money, I'd be afraid I'd end up buried in the basement.

He was never anything special even in his prime, and he’s long past his prime. Starting to look a little jowly and scruffy, looking like he belongs in an Irish pub.

He’s bright and in the general sense he’s a philanthropist who cares about the planet and its inhabitants. He founded the Crowdrise crowdfunding platform which is designed to signal boost worthy charities.

But as an individual he comes across as an insufferable asshole, which imo snuffs out any hint of sexiness he might have otherwise had. See linked article detailing his exploits over the last 25 years: he’s basically at the point where he can only get films made if he produces them himself or if Wes Anderson directs.
