There seem to be very few instances of intellectually disabled people in porn. Is this just due to taboo, or is it actually illegal?

As someone who is sex-positive and very into social justice, I vascillate between two competing thoughts: the first (reactionary) thought is that ID porn is exploitative...but the second (deliberative) thought is that it's immoral to deny ID people their ability to experience their own self-directed sexuality.

Oh I think if you look deep enough OP you'l find that most of them are, at least to some degree, intellectually disabled. Otherwise they wouldn't get involved in the porn industry as performers.

Sex just seems to be a simpler prospect for people with limited intellects. It's something that becomes clear when you move into adolescence and certain peers can just heedlessly dive right into it. As adults, they don't fret about entangling emotions because it's easier for them to disengage their bodies from their minds. They don't dread being humiliated, misunderstood, betrayed, used, exposed. They're always relaxed, easy-going, up-for-a-good-time because consequences don't register in their minds the same way. Guys like this who are on-the-take can treat their anatomies as empty vessels. Sex is a mercenary transaction; both parties get what they want. It's no big deal. That's what a bimbo is: an empty, willing sex object.
