They don't know what gender their kid is so why are they calling it 'he'?

I made it to the 1 min 45 sec mark and had to bail out.
Is this a live-action adaptation of a lesbian comic book? Alison Bechdel should sue for plagiarism. Down to the striped shirt!

Is that a new euphemism for "dyke"?

How is she gender nonconforming? Because she likes sports, has guy friends, and wears her hair short? That's the problem with these transgender/gender nonconforming idiots. Gender/sex is determined by your genetics, not by stereotypes.

Oh for fuck's sake. "Oooh I'm Jenndah-Queeeer coz I don't live like a Barbie!". Yes dear, very special. Seriously, this generation thinks it's so radical, with it's 1950s concepts of Real Girl =Pink.

I like to think of myself as species non-conforming.

Sure, "Dashiell"'s pretentious, but at least it's a welcome (and no doubt very brief) break from Aiden/Ayden/Aydan.

"I'm constantly trying to queer my relationship to [my child]."
Um... why??? Just be a freakin' parent, FFS.

The long-haired spouse is Michelle Tea, an author, who will stop at nothing to continue self-promoting.

R18 Stories like this make me feel better about my own parents. My parents were shitty, but at least they were normal in all other aspects. Life is complicated enough without adding to it with these kind of silly neuroses.

This will kill gay adoption, because people cannot sort out the difference between gay and trans and non-binary bullshit. And GLAAD and HRC encourages the confu$ion.

Doesn’t this totally eradicate all the progress made my feminism and gay rights? I was born in the 70s and we were told stereotypes were outdated, sexist and homophobic. My town wasn’t even remotely liberal but during my high school years in the mid 80s 99% of people accepted that girls didn’t have to do home ec and boys didn’t have to play sports. I’m struggling to think of any kid that was a complete walking stereotype, a vial of estrogen/testosterone with legs and I can’t. This gender neutral nonsense is actually very regressive. It’s like they’re taking instruction from a 1955 Ladies Home Journal article.

I shudder by the thought of DL regulars being able to raise actual kids. It's easy to judge breeders. Raising a kid and fighting the belief that you are going to fuck the poor kid up in some way is terrifying.
