What's really amazing to me about this clip is the lack of profane language on the part of the kids.

If they did this today, the kids would've been, "Holy fuck! That teacher is so fucking hot!" "Shit! Did you see her tits?"

Talk about a time warp!

R12 If the kids are around junior high school age, it makes sense. Girls mature faster than boys. In junior high is where you really see the difference.

Thanks OP, that was hilarious. The hairstyle on the girl on the left was the classic flip. Brings back memories.

I graduated in 1968 on the SF Peninsula. 1965 was a seminal year. Shortly after everything began to change. It was hard on parents but in the long run, many cultural improvements were made. Gay rights, equal rights, fair housing, environmental protection, women's rights etc. There used to be a separate section in the newspaper for men's and women's work, women's being secretarial, phone operators, etc.

It's shocking to me we're slipping backwards because of white supremacy and ignorance. The struggle never ends.

1965, '66, '67 things were changing but it still pretty much an innocent age.

By '68 things started to change rapidly.

R18 - she certainly sounds like my friends who grew up in Queens; but the teacher had a southern accent, so maybe New Orleans -- the local accent there can often sound like a NYC one.
