Hooking up at the gym

Writer John Thompson

So, to summarize:

1. The wet areas are the places you'll most likely find sexual action at the gym. Look for places where you can stop unwanted parties from joining in, such as closed-curtain showers and single-use restrooms (I've even messed around in bathroom stalls).

2. Straight couples hookup in the wet areas occasionally, too, but nowhere nearly as often as men having sex with men.

MANY straight women come to coed jacuzzis in bikinis, ready to socialize and PLENTY of straight men oblige them. Especially evenings on the weekends. They flirt, cuddle, kiss, make out, etc. LOTS of couples who already know each other do this regularly at my gym. They use the coed steam room for this, as well.

I once witnessed a heterosexual couple using THE SWIMMING POOL WHILE SWIMMING to frontage each other!

They were socializing loudly and laughing, swimming on top of each other, back and forth in the swimming pool for 30 minutes, groping and humping through swimwear, before the gym staff had to intervene. They were thrown out!

3. Very hot, openly gay men tend to avoid cruising and hooking up this way, whereas trolls are shamelessly always there.

I think the "A gays" at the gym have plenty of better options constantly without having to resort to gym sex. Plus, they're more closely watched and judged. Plus, they would set off a maelstrom. Whatever the case, hot gay men are usually too proud to suck and fuck in the sauna.

4. Hate or shame those of us who've cruised and hooked up in public spaces all you want. The truth is, most of us ARE respectful of innocent gym-goers who don't want to see this activity in public spaces. We, the fuckers, almost always take pains to ensure that nobody sees or experiences this activity who isn't on-board.

We do this by checking for visual confirmation (seductive stares) plus physical confirmation (self crotch grabs) from all parties present before going to town. We also try to seclude ourselves in areas sectioned off from the public or closed doors where the uninvited won't see or roam.

In every cursing situation I've ever witnessed, the participants all pulled up their pants and shut the behavior down if a stranger entered the premises.
