I need a mattress and a bed, any recommendations.

I can use a high quality pillow too, Ny recommendations for a good pillow.

Never ever buy casper, don't even go onto their website. they wire tap you! you use a software to log your keystrokes. even if you don't submit your email, they still know all your details. not only do they know your IP address, you also know your physical address and other info.

they are being sued by the govt.

stay away!

I found the Casper mattress too firm for my liking. After two weeks I had to send it back but they returned my money pronto and the service was great.

I just slept on a Caspar at an airbnb rental. I thought it was comfortable.

I have a $200 memory foam mattress from Amazon and it's also comfortable.

Everything is chemicals, even water.

For those who are concerned about certain chemicals, latex seems to be the go to. Expect to pay a fair bit.

Consumer Reports just did a big article/product review on mattresses. You have to be a member to see it on their website, but if you let me know what type (innerspring vs. foam vs. adjustable) you want, I can give you a list of their recommended models.

Go on Amazon and see mattresses that they mail to you. You unroll them, and they take about a day to get to normal size. They range from $100 - $400 and are great.

I have one. My sister loved it so much when she visited that she bought one,. My dad bought one for his guest room.

I can tell you that a friend has a Casper bed and he loves it. The service and delivery are great. He tried it out and it has the exact level of support he likes. Slightly soft but supportive.

Of course, everyone has different preferences for mattresses so it's impossible to say. And, no, I'm not a shill for Casper as someone is sure to say.

I have a Beauty Rest with a horsehair layer on top. King sized. Love it as I love to sprawl.
