I always got him mixed up with the other sexy actor in the 80s and 90s - Hunt Block (who was a regular on 'Knots Landing' from 1985-87). Both men have aged well, IMO.

His character was married but had a male side piece, played by a very handsome guy who had a high pitched femmy voice. Can’t remember what the film was called. I think that it was a pilot that didn’t get picked up.

First fell for him in Islands In The Stream. He played George C Scott 's son. He rode a sea turtle and was killed by the evil Nazis. I remember sobbing when he died beautifully smiling. My 12yo self didn't think it fair that dreamy Hart should die and ugly hairy old George should survive. Hemingway said "Life is unfair" .
