It's PR puffery when it contradicts what you want to believe.

The initial statement was made, if you read the fucking piece, to FORBES. Not the Daily Mail or the Express.

What Harry came into at 30 was exceedingly clear. And wasn't there was exceedingly clear.

And those statements are usually made by representatives, not principals. People like Harry and William (about show share in that alleged trust fund there never seems to be a mention) don't make personal statements to FORBES magazine. They send out representative.

Find me the slightest actual financial proof in Harry's inheritance that shows an additional 14 million or so, whose revenues must be taxed just as Harry and William paid normal taxes on the revenues from the trust fund their mother left them.

These people's net worth isn't that hard to find.

And whilst we're at it, Charles' entire estate with non-liquid assets including land, jewellery, horses, art, etc. my amount to a billion or so, but his actual net worth is around $420 million. He barely makes it into the top 15.

Lady Colin Campbell also had it on good authority that the Queen Mother, her parents' eighth of ninth children, was conceived with the help of the family cook and a turkey baster. For years, that has been circulating, too.

The fact that the Countess of Strathmore was in her forties and already had seven children, thus why go to all that trouble in her mid-forties for, God help her, an eighth and ninth (she called the two "my Benjamins" after the 12th and 13th children of Jacob and Rachel in the Bible), never seemed to occur to anyone - never mind the striking resemblance between the Queen Mother's jawline and her own mother's. . . .

It's why I have never taken anything Lady C says seriously since.

This is the same thing. Without a shred of proof, everyone believes the story.

I don't mind gossip. But I really mind people who have been presented with one provable fact ( a concrete denial by the estate itself), insisting that it doesn't mean what it says and the reverse is the truth.
