I always assumed Hamilton was gay if only because my mom said he was and she had pretty good gaydar. Though to be fair, she thought any actor who had especially long, thin fingers gay (Andrew McCarthy), so I don't know how reliable her method was.

No matter what procedures he may have done, and I'm sure he's had some, he still looks like himself. His features rather than his facial structure are the biggest part of what distinguishes his appearance. That nose and smile, especially. So tightening, resurfacing, and tweaking don't have that bad an effect on him, unlike, say, Kristen Davis with her Joker's smile. (What causes that, anyway?)

I was in Miami Beach for a meeting in December of 2008. I stayed at the Fontainebleu and it had recently undergone a big renovation and because of the financial crisis it was nearly empty. Huge and clean and creepy as fuck.

My friend Kathy drove down to meet me and we ate dinner at Scarpetta in the hotel. The restaurant was also nearly empty except…right near us was a somewhat boisterous table of four. It was two under 30-ish bimbos and two much older men. One man looked like your typical well-off seventy-something gold chained Miami denizen. The other was tall and broad shouldered yet slim—and deeply suntanned. They were both rather handsy with the girls who were giggling as bimbos are prone to do. Kathy mouthed to me…”GEORGE. HAMILTON.”

I had no idea it was him but once I heard his name it clicked. It was George Hamilton being George Hamilton.
