Gordon Ramsay Kitchen Nightmares
Daniel Martin
Seems to be exactly the same every time.
This food is shit!
How dare you?
This food is shit!
OK. Help me!
Tart up the restaurant and change the menu. Everyone's happy. Grown men moist eyed.

They're running old shows in my region.
I keep googling the restaurants he's "worked his magic" on and most seem to have closed.

A reality show has a formula. I'm shocked.
However, I'll always be grateful for this:

I remember the original UK version of this show and it was much better. He rarely yelled and it was funny to see some of the owners get in his face and to watch him back down.

It's like that for all shows that have a similar premise. No surprise. By these establishments are so far down in trouble and debt by the time they film there's literally no chance in hell for the majority of them to survive, despite any help or renovation they get.

[bold]Friday Rants: 'Horrible' 'Jerk' Gordon Ramsay Caused 50% Drop in Sales at Black Pearl[/bold]
[quote]Chelsea seafood shack The Black Pearl is now closed, following a failed relocation from the East Village and a completely brutalizing attempt by Gordon Ramsay to "save it," via his Kitchen Nightmares show.

R2
Amy, Amy, Amy....She and her husban needed the services of a therapist, not a chef.

It was obvious ABC was a front for money laundering... Amy was just too stupid to realize it.

R3 has it right. The US version of this show is unwatchable compared to the UK version, with the one notable exception being the Amy's Baking Company episode.

Did Gordon take his shirt off in every episode?
| by Anonymous | reply 10 | January 3, 2019 4:28 PM |
R10 yes, I noticed they did the same thing for Hotel Hell. They also always made sure to have at least one shirtless scene and at least one other scene featuring his bulge.

Did you see the one where he stripped off completely and showed us his naked arse getting in the shower?
Just a flash from afar?
Gurl, no - close up and lingering.

Always hated Gordon's highlighted, streaked hair. A wee bit poofta-ish for my taste.
