Good affordable natural candles
Daniel Martin
I realize this may be a DL can of worms, but I find myself completely out of scented candles for the home. Don't take away my gay card!
I don't burn them that often, but if a cooking smell invades the house or someone smokes a joint inside or something like that, it's good to have a few around.
I prefer natural soy candles with natural scented oils. I'm willing to spend up to maybe $45 per candle, or more for a larger size.
As for scents, we're easy to please and like natural woodsy or citrusy scents mostly.
Do any makers come to mind?

OP, what was in your last haul?

We love these. You can sometimes find them in TJ Maxx, but they are also available online from several vendors.

I like Partylite Candles their jar candies are reasonable and their burn time is longer. They are made with paraffin wax, so they burn clean.

Take your frau-bait elsewhere.

Zara has scented soy candles in your price range. And they go on sale 2x a year for half off. Scents change every year or so.

R4 are you speaking to me? I do not sell PL I just love candles. They really do burn clean. I’m a clean freak, so I’m done with the black soot all over my walls.

I simply don't know of any candles in the $45 range, OP. All the candles I burn on my yacht are at least $115 each, like this. Best of luck to you and your budget-friendly candles

It says "Made in the USA" right there on the front of the candle.

Comfort Candles, Fredericksburg, Texas. This is where I order my candles. Ben the owner is my childhood friend, and every candle is handcrafted by him since 2000. No dyes, no additives, and all-cotton wicks. From his site: “Long lasting fragrance and less smoke and soot than a paraffin wax candle.”

I love WoodWick Candles. Clean burning soy candles in a great variety of fragrances. And they have that cool wooden wick that sounds like a crackling fire.

I like Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day because they're easy to find at the local Hy-Vee or online, and the lemon verbena smell is light enough that it doesn't get too overpowering.
| by Anonymous | reply 36 | October 17, 2019 12:17 PM |
I agree about Mrs Meyer’s. I like the seasonal Mums fragrance. It also fills up a room with the scent unlike some candles.

How about Chanel No. 5 candles?
