I think Dangerous Liaisons would be the strongest of those performances, but I always loved her in Reversal of Fortune which I still count as her best work to date.

Fatal Attraction is the role she'll be most remembered for. But I personally loved her in both Garp and Liaisons.

I'll never understand why an actress as accomplished as G needs the validation of this little gold statuette. This isn't The Olympics, it's always going to be a highly subjective vote based on a huge host of factors. It doesn't invalidate your work nor diminish the critical acclaim or commercial success of your films. I understand it would be "nice" to win, but you're still a wealthy, very successful actress still working well into old age.
