Gen Z and bisexuality

Writer Robert Guerrero

[Quote]I guess it's hard to explain. You're talking about being gay. This thread is about why there seems to be more bisexuality these days. Maybe some bi guys are a little different. (I'm bi.) Today guys are a bit more feminized.

Each generation thinks they have come up with something new. LOL But there have always been gay, bi and straight people. Despite the media's attempts to confuse things, there are only two sex organs. You either like dicks or pussies or both. How you dress it up is your choice. Those are the options though, but I digress.

Bisexuality is more complicated because for the general public there is no difference between bisexuality and homosexuality.

Historically, people could not be openly gay or bi. They had lifelong "roommates" or were "confirmed bachelors." Then some homosexuals evolved and began saying they were bisexual because it was deemed easier for society to accept. But even today where more people accept bisexuality as a thing, many gays will date bisexuals, many women will not. They see that as gay.

So when you say you are bisexual, a lot of people are gonna just say you are gay. With "straight" as the default and "gay" as the aberration, nobody cares about the straight side. They only care about the part of you that wants to suck dick. Do I think more guys wanna suck a dick because they like that their buddy smells like "Irish Spring" when he gets outta the shower? LOL No!

My point is that gay and bisexuals have always been around. There are not more of them now. The internet just makes everything more visible. No one is alone anymore. Whatever your group is, you can find them more easily by going online.

Tik Tok , FB and YouTube are not cranking out or turning more guys gay or bi. They are just making some more visible. BUT you have some straight guys who are just there to entertain their largely gay male following. Same thing happens in Hollywood. You're not gonna see many A list actors say anything bad about LGBTQ because those are often their most vocal fans (or critics).

There has always been a myth that gays and bisexuals dress better and take better care of themselves than straight men. I think that is very person specific and is not true across the board. But every generation has had men like this. Even during WWII when our great grandfather's talked about the standard to get ready for a date being to "shower, shit and shave," there were always men that did a little more. LOL

The bottom line is that you shouldn't confuse enlightenment with recruitment. LOL We are a full generation past the beginning of the AIDS crisis and lots of work by gay rights groups which has raised awareness of homosexual humanity. Thank those pioneers who went before us (and the elder gays) for educating the world!

This raised awareness and technology has made homosexuality (and collaterally bisexuality) more palatable to society. But none of that is not gonna create more of them and that isn't gonna make "Straight" men want you.

Young people are freer about admiring each other, supporting each other's sexual preferences, and being on trend with the whole LGBTQ movement (and maybe flirting with it to be "cool") but don't be deceived, men taking good care of themselves and being goofy on the internet doesn't mean they're trying to sleep with their male friends. They're mostly just being young. 🙄
