Fist-a-cuffs

Writer Robert Guerrero

Have you ever throw a punch at someone?

How'd you feel?

by Anonymousreply 13December 15, 2020 3:49 AM

Yes. I’ve done bare knux fights for top and as foreplay. You’d be surprised how many gay men are into it. I’ve been looking for a bare knux fist fight to ko. No luck yet.

R1 here. To answer your question, it makes me feel like a man.

Yes R4 and it should also have been written 'thrown'.

by Anonymousreply 5December 14, 2020 10:00 PM

Excellent, R4.

No, not outside of class. Also, outside of my Class.

I know better than to put myself in situations where violence is likely, I always look for de-escalation, and as a last resort I know how to defend myself if someone does throw a punch, or pulls a weapon.

(Tip- if you can see their finger is on the trigger, not only does the person pointing a gun not know WTF they’re doing, but they’re extremely dangerous because they’re too stupid to use proper trigger discipline)

I was a little pansy growing up and I used to get picked on by one of the boys in the neighborhood. The usual second grade bully stuff, blocking my path as I'd walk home from school, taking my lunch money, etc. My parents were furious and told me the only way to deal with a bully was to stand up to them. If he bullied me again, I was to say "If you don't get out of my way, I'll punch you in the nose".

The next day, he blocked my path, I told him to move or I'd punch him in the nose, He called my bluff, so I screwed up all the courage I had and punched him right in the nose. He swung back and in a second, we were on the ground having at it. I quickly got the upper hand, the other kids who'd come running had to pull me off him. He ran home with a bloody nose, crying.

It's been over 55 years and I still remember that afternoon. I'm glad I stood up to him, but I never really felt good about it.

I had a fist fight with my older brother. He was 18 months older than I. I was bigger but not mean. He was mean. He spit in my face when I arrived from the hospital according to my grandmother. He treated me like shit for years. He was the sports star in high school but wouldn't speak to me at school. Well, we had a set too when I was in college. I beat the living shit out of him. He didn't even touch me. After that we became the best of friends. He just needed to accept me as his brother.

i was walking to work in philly and some asshole from jersey at a red light was watching the other light and started scooting his car in the crosswalk while i was in it right in front of him.

i hit his car hood to warn him, he got out and yelled at me, i called him "jersey trash", he punched me in the face, i punched him in the face, some kid got out of the car and screamed "dad", asshole got back in the car, i finished walking to work and went to the bathroom to see if there was any damage. there wasn't.

jersey drivers are assholes.

Wow. I don't want to throw or receive a punch.

I'm a big, old sissy.

by Anonymousreply 11December 15, 2020 3:20 AM

R11

Take a boxing class. You might need to check around, but someone will like teaching a “sissy” to fight.

But they won’t let you be a sissy. You will have to commit.

It’s fun, and builds esteem.

R4 Of course you'd be good at it with those meat hooks!
